Developed and implemented a variety of estate planning and estate tax reduction strategies for individuals and professionals, from straightforward wills and trusts to more complex strategies of sales and gifts to grantor trusts, qualified personal residence trusts, and various charitable strategies, including charitable remainder trusts and private foundations.
Developed and implemented plans to structure assets from potential creditors of physicians and other healthcare professionals, often including the use of statutory and constitutional exemptions, retitling assets, various trusts and limited liability entities.
Handled the negotiation and drafting of business documents for many healthcare practices, including shareholder buy-sell agreements, employment agreements, corporate formation and governance documents, leases, and various agreements between the practices and hospitals and surgical centers.
