Biography 
Robert Young's primary practice areas include commercial litigation, insurance defense, and medical malpractice defense. He frequently assists in the representation of physicians, physician groups, and other medical professionals in medical negligence actions and other risk management issues.

Robert received his bachelor's degree in economics and political science from University of North Carolina. He attended Campbell University, the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, and graduated first in his class with a concentration in advocacy. While in law school, Robert joined Carruthers & Roth as a clerk for two summers. "As a Greensboro native, I was always very aware of Carruthers & Roth and its strong reputation."

Robert and his wife, Preston, have two sons, Bobby and Henry. As an avid sports fan, Robert is enjoying his sons and sharing in his love of soccer, golf and ACC athletics.
