Biography 
J. Aaron Bennett is an associate with Carruthers & Roth, P.A. and concentrates his practice on estate planning, business law and employee benefits.

Prior to joining the firm, Aaron worked as a client services officer at a financial planning and wealth management firm where he focused primarily on trust administration. During law school, he served as an intern at the Forsyth County District Attorney’s Office and also worked as a summer clerk at Carruthers & Roth, P.A.

Born and Raised in Wilmington, North Carolina, Aaron earned a joint bachelor’s and master’s degree, summa cum laude, in trust and investment management from Campbell University in 2005. He received his law degree and graduated magna cum laude from Elon University School of Law in May of 2009. A member of Elon Law School’s charter class, Aaron was the business editor of the Elon Law Review and a member of the Business Law Association and Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity.

Outside of the office, Aaron enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with his wife, Cydney.
