and professionals. Unlike healthcare practice
groups at other firms, C&R's healthcare
group focuses solely on the needs of healthcare
practitioners and private practices and
intentionally refrains from representing
hospitals and other institutional healthcare
organizations. Our skills and experience
are solely directed to the specific issues
commonly faced by healthcare practitioners
at both the individual and practice levels.
Our Healthcare Professionals and Practices
group consists of corporate and business
attorneys, tax attorneys, attorneys specializing
in estate planning and asset protection
planning, real estate attorneys, and litigation
attorneys who devote their practices to
defense of medical malpractice claims, risk
consultation, conflict resolution, licensing
and disciplinary matters, and healthcare
credentialing disputes.
Carruthers & Roth has decades of experience
serving as legal counsel for local and regional
physician and dental practices and is capable
of handling virtually every type of legal
matter that a practice may encounter. We
know that our healthcare clients require
common sense answers and solutions, and
not the mere identification of issues and
problems -- we strive not to "over-lawyer"
when a more efficient or practical solution
is available. We also know that our healthcare
clients require responsive and often immediate
advice, action, and follow-up, and we have
staffed our team with a view to providing

We realize that a medical firm's practice
administrator is crucial to a successful,
enduring practice. We often work in close
coordination with the practice administrator
in monitoring legal compliance and implementing
solutions. We also know how important an
experienced CPA firm is in identifying and
resolving financial issues that are specific
to professional practices. We view ourselves
as part of a team consisting of the managing
partner (or management committee), the practice
