GREENSBORO, N.C. – Carruthers & Roth P.A., is pleased to announce that J. Neal Robbins has joined the firm as an associate in the area of banking and finance. His practice focuses on banks and other lending and financial institutions.

Mr. Robbins is a native of Asheboro, North Carolina, and graduated from Southwestern Randolph High School. He received his undergraduate degree in chemical engineering, cum laude, from NC State University in Raleigh, North Carolina and was a Park Scholar, Caldwell Fellow, and University Scholar. He received his M.B.A. from the Wake Forest University Babcock School in 2007 where he received the Dale F. Sisel Scholarship for law and business and the Ewing Marion Kauffman Entrepreneurial Scholarship. Mr. Robbins received his law degree in 2007 from the Wake Forest University School of Law where he was President of the Federalist Society, Co-Editor of the student newspaper, The Hearsay, and a member of Phi Alpha Delta.
Mr. Robbins has a wide range of professional experiences including six years of technology consulting with small businesses and non-profits, two years of work as a chemical engineer within one of the largest privately owned companies in the U.S., multiple positions with arts-based non-profit organizations, substantial roles in political campaigns throughout North Carolina, and legislative drafting in the U.S. Senate.
He is a member of the North Carolina and Greensboro Bar Associations and has served two terms on the NCBA Technology Advisory Committee. He is also a member of The Federalist Society for Law and Public Policy Studies.
