GREENSBORO, N.C. – Today Carruthers & Roth, P.A. announced it has added two new members to its team – attorney Christopher Genheimer and paralegal Polly Pousson.
Chris has joined the firm’s business, tax and estate planning practice where he works with individuals, families, businesses and entrepreneurs. He is focused on helping clients with all aspects of forming, operating and transitioning family owned and closely held businesses, with an emphasis on healthcare practices and new startups.
Before turning to law, Chris worked in research, product development and project management in the biotech industry. He has authored dozens of scientific journal articles and is a co-inventor of two patented scientific developments.
Chris earned his law degree at Elon University where he was a McMichael Law & Leadership Fellow. While a student at Elon, he was honored by the N.C. Bar Association for his pro bono service to the community. He can be reached at (336) 478-1156 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Polly Pousson will support Carruthers & Roth litigators who defend medical professionals and healthcare organizations against medical malpractice claims. Polly joins the firm with a decade of experience in all aspects of the job – from preparing exhibits to researching expert witnesses.
Polly also has been active in the communities where she has lived and worked. She has volunteered at local hospitals and has taken on a leadership role with the Humane Society.
Polly earned her B.A. from Wake Forest University. She can be reached at (336) 478-1189 or at email@example.com.
“Both Chris and Polly bring unique experiences to their work, which makes them especially valuable additions to our team,” said Ken Keller, co-managing director of Carruthers & Roth. “We are delighted to have them join us.”
