June L. Basden is both an attorney and a Certified Public Accountant with 40 years of experience in commercial finance and insolvency law. She represents national, regional, and community banks, financial institutions, and commercial lenders in a variety of finance transactions, with a special focus on commercial lending and creditors’ rights. June has extensive experience in asset-based lending, factoring, loan workouts and modifications, foreclosures, bankruptcies, and commercial real estate transactions. She is a retired fellow of the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers (ACCFL). June advises parties on commercial and insolvency issues in financing transactions. Her clients have found her strategic counsel especially critical in the current financial landscape as she advocates for ways to achieve the best possible outcome. She received her B.S., summa cum laude, from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1983 and her J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law at Chapel Hill in 1986.
