J. Patrick Haywood Recognized Among Triad Business Journal’s “40 Leaders Under Forty”
GREENSBORO, N.C. – J. Patrick Haywood, a litigation attorney and director with Carruthers & Roth, P.A., was recently named one of the Triad Business Journal’s “40 Leaders Under Forty.” This prestigious distinction recognizes 40 young executives in the Triad area who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in their respective professions and in the community.
Patrick practices in commercial litigation with a focus on construction law and provides legal counsel to contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and industry professionals. He is involved in all areas of the legal process from negotiation and formation of contracts to lien claims and litigation over construction disputes.
The Triad Business Journal recognized Patrick for his community service work with Habitat for Humanity and the U.S. Equine Rescue League, Inc. A U.S. Navy veteran and former high school history teacher, Patrick made director (partner) at Carruthers & Roth in only five years and currently leads the firm’s construction industry team. He is a member of Carruthers & Roth’s associate development committee and mentors the firm’s young lawyers.
Patrick and the other “40 Leaders Under Forty” winners were honored at a special awards ceremony on Thursday, Feb. 25th at the Embassy Suites in Greensboro.
