Greensboro, N.C. – Carruthers & Roth is pleased to announce today that Adia Sol Caviness has joined the firm as an associate attorney in the business, tax and estate planning department. In this role, Adia will work closely with clients on estate plans, business transactions, contract work, tax planning, and tax controversy.
Before joining the firm, Adia served as a law clerk for Broude Jennings & McGlinchey PC in Fort Worth, TX, and Peavler | Briscoe in Grapevine, TX. She also gained experience working for the Family and Veterans Advocacy Clinic at the Texas A&M University School of Law and as a legal extern with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Dallas.

Adia is from Ramseur in Randolph County, North Carolina. After graduating summa cum laude from North Carolina State University with a bachelor’s degree in communication, she earned her law degree from Texas A&M, where she was active in the student bar association and on the staff of the Journal of Property Law. She also served as a Texas court-appointed mediator.
