Carruthers & Roth Welcomes New Associate Adia Caviness

Adia Sol Caviness is an associate attorney with our business, tax and estate planning team. In this role, she works closely with clients on estate plans, business formation documents, contract work and tax issues.
Before joining Carruthers & Roth, Adia served as a law clerk for Broude Jennings & McGlinchey PC in Fort Worth, TX, and Peavler | Briscoe in Grapevine, TX, where she gained experience in legal research, business organization, litigation, and estate planning work, including wills, powers of attorney and trust agreements.
She has also worked with the Family and Veterans Advocacy Clinic at Texas A&M University School of Law and as a legal extern with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Dallas. While at Texas A&M, she was on the staff of the Journal of Property Law, served as a Texas court-appointed mediator and was active with the student bar association.
At North Carolina State University, she earned a bachelor’s degree in communication with a concentration in public relations and a certificate in global perspectives. She was a member and mentor in the university’s Honors and Scholars Program. She also earned a certificate in developing cultural competency, served as a GLBTQ+ advocate and completed a leadership development program with the university’s Office of Leadership and Civic Engagement.
Adia enjoys listening to books on Audible, walking her German Shepard and spending time with family.
